Before a unit gets sent to a customer there are certain checks done to ensure the unit does work properly and does not go to the customer faulty.
  * Check that the end caps are tight
  * Check the units voltage 
  * Check that the baton clocks points
  * Check that the points clocked are downloaded, and the date and time is correct
  * When doing the download check that the unit has the correct serial number
