What to check before opening
If it passes all of this is it faulty?
- Does it clock a point
- Can you download
- What is the voltage on the touch port
- Does the clock run when it is communicating with the baton after a download?
You can also follow the trouble shooting guide which leads to how to correct the faults found. If no faults are found the problem is probably elsewhere and it would be a waste of time to open the baton. However it might be an Intermittent fault and those tests could be carried out depending on the fault reported.
